Contact the bench

Ziruqen answers its own phone, so tell us what the lock is doing before we send anyone out.

Austin households call this locksmith when a key snaps, a cylinder sticks or a drawer lock quits. Write in below or call direct — the same three people read every message.

Get in touch

Reach the bench directly

No call centre and no dispatcher reading from a script. As a residential locksmith in Austin, TX, we take household doors, drawers, gates and small safes — write in with the address and what's wrong and we'll tell you plainly what it needs.

When someone's on the bench
Someone is at the counter most weekdays. Evenings and weekends run by appointment for lockouts and urgent jobs — call first rather than driving over on the chance.

Optional. Helps us bring the right pins and plates on the first visit.

This is an inquiry, not a booking or a binding quote. Someone reads it and calls or emails back with a real time and, where one is possible, a price.

What comes with us

The kit that goes out on a call

Lockouts and on-site key cutting both leave the bench in the same box: a folding pick set, tension wrenches in three sizes, a portable duplicating unit for a standard household blank, and the paperwork for sign-off if a job turns out to need drilling. Nothing in that box is a car-key programmer or a fleet master-key kit — we don't carry what we don't do.

If your call is a lockout, that box is what shows up, not a van full of showroom hardware. We try the door with picks and tension first; a swap or a new cylinder only gets discussed once you're back inside and can see the lock for yourself.

Packed and latched. This is what leaves the workshop for a call-out, not a showroom van.

We turn down three kinds of job on purpose

Car keys, fleet or multi-site contracts, and fire-rated vault safes. Saying no to those up front is why the six jobs we do keep getting done properly.

If your message describes one of those three, we'll say so honestly rather than take the job and guess. For everything else — doors, drawers, gates, cabinet locks and drawer safes — write in below or see the full list of what the bench covers.
